I realize how careless it was of me to leave my wallet in the tv room while you were in there fixing my tv; but it makes me sad that someone I mistook for a decent human being couldn't resist taking my very carefully budgeted grocery money. Thanks to your selfishness, I am now more than a weeks worth of groceries short and my family is less well off than you probably think we are. I hope that your family needed that money more than mine did because telling myself that's the case is probably what will make me feel better about this....
I apologize for my venting. I suppose I just needed to get out my frustration with the situation. Seeing as there is nothing I can do to get the money back, I guess this was the only action I can take to let this roll off my back better. It's really too bad that we can't just trust other people.
